SQUAM ART WORKSHOPS :: SEPTEMBER
16-20 2009
I'm thrilled to be teaching at Squam Art Workshops, for
the second time, this September at the BEAUTIFUL Squam Lake
in New Hampshire.
I will be teaching "Create a Painting in a Day",
(and yes! we will finish a painting by the end of the day!)
and this September I've partnered with my inspiring friend
and colleague Christine
Mason Miller for a very special class titled "Book
in a Day". To learn more about SAW and register, just
And to learn more about SAW's lovely founder, Elizabeth,
you can visit here.
And one more thing...if for any reason you might be on the
fence about whether to come to this amazing art retreat,
pop on over to my blog and read this post.
Also you can read about my time at Squam earlier in June
of this year right here.
Aside from plenty of creating in my classes, it will be
an honor to be part of the encouragement, support and inspiration
for you on your creative adventures.
I look forward to seeing you there!
"My first class was Painting in a Day with Marisa.
I can't say enough about her. She is beautiful, sweet, funny,
happy, POSITIVE, and the best teacher ever. I am so pleased
with how my paintings turned out under her direction."
~ Ali
"Taking a workshop from Marisa is like giving your inner child a deluxe
box of crayons. Marisa naturally creates a space where inspiration,
ideas, and the gremlins can have a playdate peacefully.
I left the class feeling full and content. Marisa is a delightful
and supportive teacher. " ~ McCabe
"You are so amazing beyond words. Thank you for imparting
your knowledge to us in such a kind, thoughtful, joyful,
eloquent way. You are such a fantastic artist and it was
a joy to meet you. I am a better person for knowing you.
And I hope to be a better artist, armed with some super
tips and techniques that you brought to us in your classes.
This woman is a force of nature to be reckoned with, yet
she brings such compassion to her interactions and relationships,
and every piece she creates has such meaning and feeling
behind it. I can only hope to expand on what I learned from
you." ~ Laurie
